I love knowledge sharing because of what transpires during this time. I strongly believe that we are all teachers and learners and I welcome questions, comments, and confusion as we grapple with the complexities that are always involved with discovering parts of who we are. I take my role as an educator seriously, but also practice transparency and humor. In this section, you can read about the different curriculum I have developed along with evaluations of my teaching. Additionally, you can see the national presentations I have given.

Dissertation Abstract & Presentation
The Influence of Social Networking on Socially Responsible Leadership

PowerPoint from Defense | |
File Size: | 1014 kb |
File Type: | pptx |
This quantitative study advances the literature surrounding the interplay of social networking, socially responsible leadership, and social perspective-taking. The need to explore these connections are important; however, there remains a dearth of evidence from large scale studies (Ahlquist, 2017; Baek, et al., 2012). This study examined to what extent, if any, social networking influences college students’ capacities for socially responsible leadership. More specifically,
- To what extent, if any, does social networking frequency influence college students’ capacities for socially responsible leadership?
- To what extent, if any, does social networking proficiency influence college students’ capacities for socially responsible leadership?
- To what extent, if any, does social networking centrality influence college students’ capacities for socially responsible leadership?
- To what extent, if any, does the inclusion of social perspective-taking as an intermediate outcome shape the influence of social networking on college students’ capacities for socially responsible leadership?
